After nearly 3 decades in publishing as an author (11 books, hundreds of articles) and editor, I decided to add copywriting training to my writing skills. Finally--a way to write and make good money at it! Once my training was done (American Writers and Artists Institute, certified by Web Copywriting University), to get samples for clients, I started writing my own copy about what I knew best: how to write and publish a book. However, rather than getting copywriting work, I got people who wanted me to coach them on writing, publishing, and promoting a book! Thus "Your Book Publishing Coach" was born, and Words to Profit, the company of which I am the CEO.

and freelance writing projects for several, and my husband is also in publishing. My goal is to equip authors to be successful by being well-heard and well-paid, so that their words profit them and those people who need to hear their unique message--profit all in every way.
In this blog I will be posting my best ideas for writing, publishing, and promoting information products, combining my copywriting and publishing background. My goal is to ensure that you're well heard and well paid as an expert. I love to focus on what works--case studies and actionable ideas. Most of my articles are accompanied by a suggestion action step and/or resource. Ideas are good, but results come with action!
